What is Tagsy?
Do finders need an app?
No. A Tagsy can be scanned with any phone camera that reads QR codes.
Is my phone number printed on the label?
No. Finders contact you through Tagsy, and you decide what they see.
Can I buy PULSE yet?
Not yet. PULSE is coming soon. Use “Notify me” on any PULSE product.
Do you deliver outside the UK?
We’re launching in the UK first, with more markets to follow. See Shipping.
Can I pay online?
Online payments aren’t switched on yet. You can build a pack and go through checkout up to the payment step.
Tagsy Smart Labels
Do finders need an app?
No. They scan with their normal phone camera and see a safe recovery page. No download, no account.
Does my phone number appear on the label?
No. That’s the point: the label connects to your Tagsy identity, and you decide what a finder sees.
Can I put several labels on one item?
Yes. Every label has its own code, so you can put one inside and one outside a bag and manage them separately.
Are they dishwasher-safe?
We’re testing durability now and will publish clear care guidance with real results. We won’t claim more than we’ve tested.
Does a label show me where my thing is?
No. LABEL is passive: it works when someone finds and scans it. For finding things yourself, see PULSE.
Tagsy Fabric Labels
How many washes will they survive?
We’re testing now and will publish real results rather than guesses. Until then we describe them as laundry-ready and nothing more.
Can school staff use them?
Yes. Anyone can scan a label. See Tagsy for Schools for what we do with schools.
Do I still need to write names in clothes?
Many schools ask for a visible name. A Tagsy label can sit alongside it, adding a private way to reach you.
Can I label a blazer and a jumper differently?
Yes. Every label is unique, so each garment has its own identity in your account.
PULSE Blazer
Can it go in the wash?
The finder is removable and should be taken out before washing. The pouch is designed to stay in the garment.
Will PULSE work with Apple Find My or Google Find Hub?
Final compatibility will be confirmed before release. We won’t claim support for any finding network until the production hardware has been approved for it. Our guide to Find My and Find Hub explains how those networks work in general.
Is PULSE a GPS tracker?
No. PULSE is Bluetooth-based finding: it helps you locate nearby things and, where supported, things other devices have passed. That’s different from GPS. See BLE vs GPS tracking.
