How Bluetooth finding works
A Bluetooth finder sends out a small, low-power signal. When your phone is nearby, it can help you home in on it. Some finding networks also let other people’s devices anonymously report a finder they pass. Which networks PULSE supports will be confirmed before release.
Honest distinction
PULSE is Tagsy’s Bluetooth-finding family: small finders and finder-enabled products designed to help you locate the things you reach for most. Each includes a Tagsy identity for recovery.
No. Bluetooth finding works over short range and, on supported networks, via other nearby devices. GPS works out a position from satellites. BLE vs GPS explained.
