Tagsy for schools
Every school has the box. Tagsy helps shrink it: labelled items that tell staff who they belong to, a simple way to notify families, and fewer hours spent holding up jumpers at pickup.
Unclaimed uniform piles up by the term, then gets donated, binned or sold on. That’s money out of families’ pockets and space out of your building.
The whole point of uniform is that it all looks the same. Without a reliable, durable label, staff can’t tell one Year 4 jumper from another.
Sorting, displaying, emailing and chasing belongings takes time from office teams and teachers that should be spent elsewhere.
Families want to know when something turns up. A Tagsy scan can notify the owner directly, rather than relying on newsletters and noticeboards.
Holding items is easy. Returning them is the hard part. A labelled item gives staff an immediate next step.
Tagsy started in school corridors. Our school service gives each participating school its own Tagsy space, where staff can see labelled items, notify families and mark things as sent to lost property. Parents claim their labels, so when a jumper turns up, the right family hears about it.
Schools can take part in different ways. Some choose to supply labels to families; others simply recommend Tagsy and let parents buy their own. Either way, the label does the work: a member of staff, a pupil or a parent scans it with a phone camera, and the item has a route home. No app to install, no phone numbers sewn into collars.
We’re also developing PULSE Blazer, a removable Bluetooth finder in a garment-friendly pouch, for the single most expensive item on the uniform list. If you’d like to talk about what Tagsy could look like at your school, we’d be glad to hear from you.

For the things that go in the wash and somehow never come back.
The core of a school rollout: laundry-ready labels for blazers, jumpers, PE kit and coats, each with its own Tagsy identity.
Small label. Big way home.
For bottles, lunchboxes, instruments and bags: the other half of every lost-property box.
A Tagsy for the bottle. A Tagsy for the blazer. Sorted.
A simple starter set to recommend to families at the start of the year or for new joiners.
The blazer that can call for help.
Coming soon. A removable Bluetooth finder for blazers, with the Tagsy QR identity included. Removed before washing.
Families label their children’s belongings and claim each label to their account. When staff or pupils find an item, they scan the QR code and the owner can be notified, or the item can be marked as sent to lost property.
No. A Tagsy QR code opens in a normal phone camera. Staff who manage lost property use their school’s Tagsy login.
Not necessarily. Some schools supply labels; others recommend Tagsy and parents buy directly from the shop. We’ll help you choose the approach that suits your community.
Labels don’t carry names, phone numbers or addresses in plain sight. A finder reaches a private recovery route, and contact happens through Tagsy rather than by publishing personal details.
Use the School login button on this page: pick your school and you’ll go straight to its Tagsy sign-in. For everything about running Tagsy in a school, see schools.tagsy.it.
