Tagsy for students

Halls, lectures, library, repeat. Keep your stuff.

Shared kitchens, packed libraries, borrowed chargers and one set of keys between you and a locked-out evening. Tagsy helps your things find their way back to you, and helps you find them first.

Sound familiar?

Keys, fob, lanyard

Lose your halls key and you’re waiting on security, or paying for a replacement. It’s the one thing you really can’t afford to leave behind.

The laptop left in the library

Step away for a coffee and come back to an empty desk. Most finders want to help; they just have no idea whose it is.

Chargers are communal property now

In shared flats, chargers drift from room to room. A labelled one at least knows where it lives.

Bags, water bottles and gym kit

Lecture theatres, gyms and buses are full of things someone meant to pick up.

Lending in shared spaces

The pan, the hoodie, the textbook. Lending is part of student life; remembering who has what is not.

Your stuff, on a student budget

Student life happens across a dozen buildings a week, surrounded by thousands of people carrying the same laptop, the same bottle and the same charger. That makes things easy to lose and hard to identify. A Smart Label on your laptop, bottle, headphones case and textbooks means an honest finder can scan it and reach you, without your number stuck on the lid for everyone in the seminar room to read.

For the things you need to find yourself, PULSE is coming soon. PULSE Keyring for the keys, PULSE Bag for the rucksack, and PULSE Charge: a power bank you can find, because the one you lend out never seems to come back.

And in shared flats, Lend in MyTagsy keeps track: mark the item as lent, note who has it and set a reminder. See how lending works.

Lend · part of LABEL · Free in MyTagsy

Lend it. Remember it. Get it back.

Tagged something you’re lending out? Mark it as lent in MyTagsy and set a reminder so it doesn’t quietly become someone else’s forever.

Because “I’ll give it back next week” has a funny way of becoming six months.

Questions, answered

Is it safe to put a Tagsy on my laptop?

Yes. The label shows a QR code, not your name or number. Someone who finds your laptop scans it and reaches a private recovery route instead.

Will a Smart Label help me find my keys in my room?

No. A Smart Label helps someone else return your keys once they find them. For finding them yourself, PULSE Keyring is coming soon with Bluetooth finding.

Can I use Tagsy to keep track of things I lend to flatmates?

Yes. Open the item in MyTagsy, choose Lend this, note who has it and pick a reminder date. We email you on the day. Read more about lending.

Does the finder need an app?

No. Any modern phone camera can scan a Tagsy QR code.

Whatever it is. Tagsy.it.
