Tagsy for travellers

Travel light. Label smart.

Airports, stations and hotel lobbies are where belongings go astray and privacy gets thin. Tagsy gives your luggage and travel kit a way home without broadcasting your name and address to every stranger on the carousel.

Sound familiar?

Luggage that takes a different route

Bags miss connections, get picked up by mistake or arrive a day later. An airline tag helps the airline; it doesn’t always help a stranger who finds your bag.

Passport wallets and travel documents

Small, slim and easy to leave on a tray at security, in a seat pocket or at a café table.

Chargers and cables

Hotel room sockets are where chargers go to retire.

Day bags and camera bags

Put down for a photo, left on a bench, forgotten on a train rack.

Privacy on the move

A luggage tag with your home address tells people where you live and that you aren’t there. A QR label doesn’t.

A better luggage tag

The classic luggage tag asks you to write your name, address and phone number on the outside of your bag, then leave it in public for the length of a journey. A Tagsy Smart Label takes a different approach: the finder scans the QR code and reaches a private recovery route, so your details stay with you. Put one on the suitcase, one inside it, and more on your passport wallet, headphones case and camera bag.

It’s worth being clear about what a label does. A QR label helps a person who has found your bag get it back to you. It doesn’t show where the bag is. If your case goes astray in the airline system, always report it to the airline’s baggage desk before you leave the airport. See what to do if your luggage is lost.

For finding, PULSE is coming soon: PULSE Luggage Strap combines a strap with Bluetooth finding and a Tagsy identity, PULSE Bag and PULSE Keyring cover the day bag and keys, and PULSE Charge is the power bank you can find.

Questions, answered

Should I put my phone number on my luggage?

You don’t have to. A Tagsy label lets a finder reach you through a private recovery route instead. Read should you put your phone number on luggage?

Can a Tagsy label show me where my suitcase is?

No. A Smart Label is passive and doesn’t broadcast its location. It helps whoever finds your case get it back to you. PULSE Luggage Strap, coming soon, adds Bluetooth finding.

Will PULSE work with Apple Find My or Google Find Hub?

Final compatibility will be confirmed before release. We won’t claim it until the production hardware is approved.

Do I still need the airline’s bag tag?

Yes. The airline tag routes your bag through the airport. Tagsy is an extra, finder-friendly way home, not a replacement for it.

Where should I put labels on a suitcase?

One on the outside, one on the inside in case the outside gets scuffed or removed, and one on anything you carry separately, like a passport wallet or camera case.

Whatever it is. Tagsy.it.
