Tagsy for parents

Less replacing. Less morning chaos.

Jumpers, bottles, PE bags and lunchboxes leave home every morning and not all of them come back. Tagsy gives each one a quiet way home, without printing your phone number on a nine-year-old’s water bottle.

Sound familiar?

The uniform that vanishes

Thirty identical navy jumpers on one coat peg. A name written in marker fades by half term, and a blazer with no name is just a blazer. Fabric Labels give clothes an identity that a finder can actually use.

Bottles, lunchboxes and the lost-property mountain

Small, everyday, forever being left on benches. A Smart Label on each one means whoever picks it up can scan it and reach you privately.

PE kit and the Thursday panic

Kit bags get swapped, borrowed and left in changing rooms. A labelled bag is easier to return and harder to “accidentally” adopt.

Forgotten, swapped and lent

Children lend things. Friends borrow things. A Tagsy on the calculator or the football means it still knows whose it is, even when your child has forgotten.

Made for the five minutes before you need to leave

Most lost things aren’t lost in any dramatic sense. They’re sitting in a lost-property box, on a coach, or in someone else’s bag, and nobody can tell whose they are. Names in marker wash out; iron-on name tapes tell a teacher a surname but not how to reach you. A Tagsy label turns “whose is this?” into a scan and a message, so a kind adult or school office can get it back to you without anyone playing detective.

It’s also privacy-minded by design. You don’t need to write a phone number or address on your child’s things. A finder scans the QR code with a normal phone camera and reaches a private recovery route; your contact details stay with you.

Start simple: Fabric Labels for the clothes that go in the wash, Smart Labels for bottles, lunchboxes and bags, or the Everyday Bundle for both. For the items that really do grow legs, the blazer and the school bag, PULSE is coming soon with Bluetooth finding you can use yourself.

The Tagsy mix that fits

Coming soon. A removable Bluetooth finder in a garment-friendly pouch, for the blazer that keeps going missing. Take it out before washing.

Questions, answered

Do I need to put my phone number on my child’s things?

No. A finder scans the Tagsy QR code with a normal phone camera and reaches a private recovery route. Your number and address never need to be printed on the item.

Which labels should I use for school uniform?

Use Fabric Labels for clothes: blazers, jumpers, PE kit and coats. Smart Labels are stickers for hard items like bottles, lunchboxes and bags.

Will a Tagsy label tell me where my child’s blazer is?

No. LABEL is passive: it helps the person who finds an item get it back to you, but it doesn’t broadcast its location. For finding things yourself, PULSE Blazer is coming soon with Bluetooth finding.

Does my child’s school need to use Tagsy?

No. Tagsy labels work anywhere someone finds and scans them. If your school also works with Tagsy, returns can be even smoother, see Tagsy for Schools.

How many labels does a family need?

It depends on how many children and how much kit. A simple starting point is the Everyday Bundle: 20 clothing labels and 20 stickers. Label the things that most often go missing first, then top up.
